Give your 2.0 TDI engine a proper breath of fresh air with the Racingline Intake System. This cold-air intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox, drawing cooler, denser air into the engine for improved throttle response, efficiency and a more engaging drive. As an authorised UK Racingline dealer, we supply this kit ready to install on a range of popular VAG diesel models.

The standard intake on these vehicles is a known restriction, particularly once the engine has been remapped or otherwise tuned. The Racingline system addresses this with a large-diameter, free-flowing intake pipe that pulls cold air from outside the engine bay, lowering intake temperatures and helping the engine work more effectively.

Trifoam® Filtration at the Core

At the heart of the kit is Racingline’s Trifoam® filter, a triple-layer laminate of open-cell polyurethane foam. The same technology has been used in Formula One engines, offering an excellent balance between filtration and airflow. Each filter is hand-made in the UK and built to last.

It is a washable, reusable “lifetime” filter, requiring cleaning and re-oiling only every 20,000 miles (30,000 km) under normal road use – far less maintenance than a typical paper element.

Performance and Sound

By reducing intake restriction, the kit allows the engine to deliver more of its potential power and torque, with gains most noticeable on remapped cars. You’ll also hear a deeper, more purposeful induction note under harder acceleration. Because the airbox is fully enclosed, the sound stays controlled rather than becoming intrusive day to day.
