Choose Your Filter: Trifoam® or Pleated Cotton

At the heart of the system sits a generously sized Racingline filter, handmade in the UK. You can choose between two options to suit your preference:

• Trifoam® – Racingline’s unique three-layer foam construction, designed for excellent filtration with very low restriction.
• Pleated Cotton – A traditional high-flow cotton media, offering superb airflow and easy long-term servicing.

Both filters provide the airflow needed to support Stage 1 and Stage 2 remaps, giving you the foundation for further tuning down the line.

Sound and Driving Feel

Because the intake is fully enclosed, the induction sound is purposeful rather than overpowering. Under hard acceleration you’ll hear a richer, more mechanical induction note, but cruising remains civilised, just as you’d expect from a daily-driven Golf.
