Standard rubber brake hoses tend to swell slightly under the heat and pressure generated during hard braking. This expansion creates the soft or “spongy” pedal feel that many drivers notice on track days or during spirited road driving. Racingline’s braided hoses are built to eliminate that problem.

How They Improve Your Braking

Each hose features a PTFE inner liner wrapped in a stainless steel braid. The braid prevents the hose from expanding under pressure, so more of the force you apply at the pedal goes directly into clamping the brake pads against the discs. The result is a sharper, more consistent pedal feel and better feedback when you need to brake hard or modulate carefully.

The PTFE liner is also fully compatible with DOT 4 and other high-performance brake fluids, and the stainless outer braid offers far better resistance to stone chips, abrasion and corrosion than standard rubber hoses.

Important: You will need to re-use your original banjo bolts during installation. After fitting, the brake system must be properly bled to remove all air before the vehicle is driven. If you are not confident carrying out brake work, please have the hoses fitted by a qualified technician.
