The Racingline Performance Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hose Set is one of the most worthwhile upgrades you can make to your braking system. As an authorised UK Racingline dealer, we recommend this kit as the ideal first step towards sharper, more confident stopping power on both road and track.

Standard rubber brake hoses tend to swell slightly under heavy braking, particularly when the system gets hot. That expansion absorbs some of the pressure you apply at the pedal, resulting in the soft or “spongy” feel many drivers notice after a few hard stops. Racingline’s braided lines are built specifically to eliminate this problem.

Firmer Pedal Feel and Improved Response

Each hose uses a PTFE inner liner (a tough, fluid-resistant plastic) wrapped in a stainless steel braid. This construction is highly resistant to expansion, so the pressure from your foot is transferred directly to the calipers rather than being lost in the line. The result is a firmer, more consistent pedal with better feedback – giving you greater confidence when braking hard, and a clearer sense of exactly how much grip the tyres have to offer.

Beyond the performance gains, the braided outer sheath also makes these lines far more resistant to abrasion, corrosion and general wear than standard rubber hoses. They are fully compatible with DOT4 and other high-performance brake fluids.

Important Installation Notes

The rear brake hoses in this kit are only suitable for vehicles fitted with an electronic handbrake. If your car uses a traditional cable-operated handbrake, the rear hoses will not be compatible.

You will need to re-use your existing banjo bolts during installation. New banjo washers are supplied and must be used to ensure a proper, leak-free seal. As with any brake work, the system must be correctly bled afterwards, and we recommend installation by a qualified technician.
