Racingline Wheel Stud & Nut Kit – M14x1.50
If you regularly swap wheels at the track, you’ll know how awkward the factory wheel bolts can be. Lining up the bolt holes, trying not to bash the wheel against your brake calipers, and avoiding cross-threading, all while balancing the weight of the wheel in one hand. The Racingline Wheel Stud & Nut Kit replaces the original bolts with permanent studs, giving you a stronger, faster and far less frustrating way to fit your wheels.
Designed for popular VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda models that use M14 x 1.5 wheel fixings, this kit is a simple, fully reversible upgrade. The studs thread into your existing wheel hubs in place of the factory bolts, so you can slide the wheel straight onto the studs and secure it with the nuts – no juggling required.

Choosing the Right Option
This kit is available in two stud lengths and two nut seat types, so you can match the kit to your wheels and spacer setup:
- 70mm Studs: Suitable for no spacers, or spacers up to 10mm.
- 80mm Studs: Suitable for spacers up to 20mm.
- Radius/Ball Seat (OEM): For factory VW Group wheels that use a rounded seat.
- Tapered/Conical Seat (Aftermarket): For most aftermarket wheels that use a 60-degree cone seat.

Engineering Details
- M14 x 1.5 heat treated high carbon steel stud with a chrome plated finish
- Lightweight M14 x 1.5 7000-series aluminium open-ended nuts with gloss black anodised finish
- Internal 6mm allen drive in the stud for accurate, controlled installation
- Knurled outer collar on the nut for an easier finger grip when starting threads
- 8mm of unthreaded stud shank for brake disc clearance
- Oversize 19mm nuts for greater contact surface and easier socket use
Installation
Fitting is straightforward. Remove your original wheel bolts one at a time and thread the new studs into place using the 6mm allen key drive built into the end of each stud. Once all studs are fitted, the wheel slides cleanly onto them and is secured using the supplied nuts, torqued to the manufacturer’s specification.
Important Fitment Notes
Please read carefully before purchase and installation:
- Maximum vehicle weight: 2500kg. Not suitable for vehicles exceeding this weight.
- 70mm studs are suitable for use with up to 10mm wheel spacers only.
- 80mm studs are suitable for use with up to 20mm wheel spacers only.
- This kit is not a locking or security wheel nut solution.
- Always torque to the correct specification and re-check after the first short drive.
