Keep your Racingline performance air filter working at its best with the official Filter Oil and Cleaning Kit. Designed specifically for Racingline’s triple-layer foam filter elements, this kit gives you everything you need to clean, re-oil and maintain your filter so it continues to deliver the airflow and filtration benefits it was built for.

Over time, any performance air filter will collect dust, dirt and debris from the air it filters. Regular cleaning restores airflow, protects your engine and extends the life of the filter element, saving you the cost of an early replacement.

When to Clean Your Filter

Racingline recommend cleaning and re-oiling the filter element every 10,000 miles (16,000 km), with a visual inspection at least once every 12 months. If your vehicle is regularly driven in dry or dusty conditions, clean and re-oil more often to maintain peak performance.

If you don’t clean the filter at these intervals, your engine remains fully protected, filtration is not compromised. However, you will gradually lose the airflow advantage that gives a Racingline filter its performance edge, and the lifespan of the foam will be shortened.

Simple to Use

The process is straightforward, but please take a few minutes to read the supplied instructions fully before starting, or pass them on to your technician. We’d recommend keeping the instructions with the vehicle’s service paperwork for future reference or future owners.

Consider a Replacement Filter Element

Like every other filter on your car, the foam element will eventually need replacing. Many customers prefer to simply fit a new filter element rather than clean the existing one, it’s a low-cost, hassle-free option. Racingline recommend replacement after 2 years for optimum performance, although a well-maintained filter will last longer if the foam remains in good condition.
