This Racingline adapter bung is a small but essential fitting designed for owners converting their EA113 engine from a K03 turbo to the larger K04 turbo. It allows the existing Racingline intake system to work correctly with the K04’s remotely located diverter valve (the valve that releases boost pressure when you lift off the throttle).

If you’ve upgraded, or are planning to upgrade, your turbo from a K03 to a K04 on an EA113 engine, the diverter valve moves to a different position. Without the correct adapter, your Racingline intake pipework won’t connect properly. This bung solves that issue, giving you a clean, secure fitment without the need for makeshift fixes.

Who needs this part

This adapter is intended for drivers running a Racingline Intake System on an EA113 platform engine (found in popular performance models such as the Golf GTI Mk5, Edition 30, Scirocco R, Audi S3 8P and Leon Cupra of that era) who have converted, or are converting, to a K04 turbo.

Important: This bung is only required when fitting a K04 turbo to an EA113 engine with an existing Racingline EA113 Intake Kit. It is not needed for standard K03 setups.
