What Makes This Kit Different
This is not a re-badged off-the-shelf coilover. Every part of the system has been engineered for serious driving:
- Motorsport monotube dampers with a deflected-disc valve system for accurate wheel control and consistent feedback, even under heavy track use.
- Inverted front dampers with a 45mm thick shaft. Inverting the damper (mounting it upside down) and using an oversized shaft makes the front strut far stiffer, reducing flex under hard cornering and giving sharper steering response.
- True rear coilovers with full spring travel at the rear axle, rather than relying on short helper springs as many road kits do. This gives more predictable behaviour over kerbs, bumps and load transfer.
- Lightweight aluminium bodies, the same as fitted to Racingline’s race kits, reducing unsprung weight.
- 12-point bump and rebound adjustment on each damper, with knobs that can be turned by hand. No tools, no jacking the car up.
- CNC-machined adjustable top mounts with pillow ball bearings for accurate camber setup.
- Adjustable drop links included, so the anti-roll bar preload can be set correctly after lowering. This is often overlooked and is critical for balanced handling.
- 60mm ID linear race springs (with helper springs on the front) in a standard motorsport size, making it easy to fit alternative spring rates for different setups.
How It Drives
On the road, expect a firm but composed ride. The damping is sophisticated enough to absorb sharp inputs without crashing through. On track, the kit comes into its own: flat cornering, sharp turn-in, strong front-end grip and a rear axle that follows the front cleanly. Because both bump and rebound are independently adjustable, the car can be tuned to suit different circuits, tyre choices or driving styles.
Setting realistic expectations: this is a track-focused kit. It is firmer than a road-only coilover, and the adjustable top mounts and pillow ball bearings will transmit a little more noise than rubber mounts. For an owner who wants true track capability without running a separate set of suspension, that trade-off is exactly the point.
