Give your engine bay the finishing touch it deserves with the Racingline R600 Carbon Fibre Intake Lid. This is a direct replacement for the standard plastic lid found on the R600 cold air intake system, swapping a functional cover for a genuine piece of carbon fibre that looks every bit as serious as the intake beneath it.

Each lid is hand-laid from high-quality carbon fibre and finished by Racingline to ensure a clean weave pattern and a precise fit on the existing R600 airbox. It bolts straight on in place of the original lid, so there are no modifications, no extra parts, and no impact on how the intake performs. It is purely a visual upgrade, and an excellent one at that.

Choose Your Finish

• Gloss Carbon (VWR121000): A deep, glass-like clear coat that brings out the full depth of the weave. Ideal if you want your engine bay to really catch the light at shows and meets.
• Matte Carbon (VWR121001): A flatter, more understated finish that shows off the weave without any glare. Perfect for a stealthier, OEM-plus look under the bonnet.

Why Fit a Carbon Lid?

The standard R600 lid is moulded plastic and does its job well, but it lacks the visual impact many owners want once they have invested in a full intake system. Switching to carbon fibre lifts the appearance of the whole engine bay, making the intake the centrepiece it should be. Carbon is also naturally lightweight, though the real benefit here is aesthetic rather than performance.

Installation is straightforward and uses the existing hardware from your current R600 lid. No tuning changes, no recalibration, and no compromise on filtration or airflow.

Fitment

This lid is designed specifically to fit the following Racingline R600 intake systems:

• VWR12G7R600
• VWR12G7R601

Important: This lid is not suitable for EA888 Gen.4 engine vehicles, including the Audi S3 8Y, Mk8 Golf R and Cupra Leon Mk4. These vehicles use a different intake system and require their own dedicated components.
