The latest 8Y generation Audi RS3 has been notoriously difficult to tune through traditional ECU remapping. Racingline’s Power Control Module (PCM) is a clever workaround, developed specifically for the RS3 8Y with the 2.5 TFSI Evo engine, giving you a meaningful jump in performance without permanently altering the factory ECU.
This particular listing covers the OPF/GPF version (DNWC engine code). If your car does not have a particulate filter (DXHA engine code), you will need the alternative part number VWR030001-RS38Y. What the PCM does
PCM stands for Power Control Module. It is a standalone PCB (printed circuit board) that communicates with the factory ECU, safely increasing the power and torque your engine produces. Racingline’s in-house calibration team spent over 12 months developing the unit, and the result is smooth, progressive gains throughout the rev range rather than a sudden, peaky surge.

It is a sensible interim solution that respects the engine’s limits while clearly waking the car up.
