Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) – 2.0 TDI EA288 EVO
The Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) is a plug-in tuning box designed specifically for the latest generation 2.0 TDI EA288 EVO diesel engines found in MQB Evo platform cars from 2020 onwards. As an authorised Racingline retailer, we supply this module direct from the brand’s official range, giving you a safe and well-engineered route to more power and torque from your diesel VW, Audi, SEAT or Skoda.
Unlike many tuning boxes that simply chase a big peak power figure, Racingline’s calibration team has focused on what they call the area under the curve. In plain terms, this means more usable torque across the entire rev range, not just one short burst at the top end. The result is a car that feels stronger in everyday driving: better response from low revs, stronger mid-range pull, and a more confident feel when overtaking or pulling away.
How the PCM Works
The PCM is a standalone circuit board (PCB) that plugs into your engine’s existing sensors and communicates with the factory ECU (the car’s main engine computer). It refines key signals such as fuel pressure and boost to safely raise power and torque, while keeping the original ECU’s safety strategies in place.
Developed in-house by Racingline’s calibration engineers over a 12 month programme, the PCM is built to be reliable, repeatable and easy to fit, with no permanent changes to your factory ECU.
Choosing the Right Module
There are three versions available, each calibrated for a specific factory power output. Use the site’s vehicle lookup or check the Vehicle Fitment tab to confirm the correct module for your car.
- VWR030002-115E – 115PS Low Output: Golf Mk8 TDI 115PS (2020+), SEAT Leon IV TDI 115PS (2020+). Power increases from 115PS to 132PS, torque from 300Nm to 340Nm.
- VWR030002-150E – 150PS Mid Output: Golf Mk8 TDI 150PS (2020+), Audi A3 35 TDI 8Y 150PS (2020+), SEAT Leon IV TDI 150PS (2020+), Skoda Octavia IV TDI 150PS (2020+). Power increases from 150PS to 170PS, torque from 360Nm to 415Nm.
- VWR030002-200E – 200PS High Output: Golf Mk8 GTD 200PS (2020+), Skoda Octavia IV vRS 200PS (2020+). Power increases from 200PS to 226PS, torque from 400Nm to 457Nm.

Many customers will eventually want a full ECU calibration once it’s available for their car. Racingline understands this, which is why every PCM customer is offered a free upgrade to the OEM+ ECU calibration as soon as it’s released for their vehicle – provided the PCM was purchased from an official Racingline OEM+ dealer, such as ourselves. There’s no need to wait, and no penalty for buying the PCM now.
