Purpose-built for the 2.0 TSI 4Drive model, these springs deliver a sharper drive while keeping the comfortable ride you expect from your SUV. Expect a drop of around 30mm at the front and rear, closing up those factory wheel arch gaps for the look the Ateca should have had from new.

What These Springs Do

The kit replaces all four standard springs with shorter, progressive-rate units developed specifically for the Cupra Ateca 4Drive. Lowering the car reduces the high centre of gravity that comes with an SUV body, which in turn cuts down body roll when cornering and makes the car feel more planted and responsive.

Racingline has deliberately kept the drop sensible. Going lower or stiffer than this tends to cause the dampers and springs to work against each other, leading to a bouncy, crashy ride. At around 30mm, the springs keep enough wheel travel for the standard dampers to do their job properly.

Progressive-Rate Design

The clever part of these springs is the progressive rate. In simple terms, the spring rate (how stiff the spring feels) is close to standard during normal driving, so day-to-day comfort is preserved. The springs only stiffen up towards the end of their travel, such as when braking hard or cornering with intent. This is what allows the Ateca to ride well on rough roads while feeling far more composed when pushed.

These springs are designed exclusively for the Cupra Ateca 2.0 TSI 4Drive (four-wheel drive). They are not suitable for 2WD vehicles.
