Racingline Billet Oil Dipstick – 1.0 TSI & 1.4 TSI (EA211) Engines

The Racingline Billet Oil Dipstick (VWR190008) is a direct replacement for the factory plastic dipstick fitted to VW Group 1.0 TSI and 1.4 TSI EA211 engines, including the 1.4 TSI Hybrid GTE and PHEV variants. It solves a well-known weakness in the original part while adding a quality finishing touch to the engine bay.

Why Replace the Factory Dipstick?

The standard plastic dipstick handle becomes brittle over time, as it sits directly above the engine and endures repeated heat cycles. Owners often find the handle snaps off during a routine oil check, leaving the stem stuck in the tube and creating an avoidable mess. The Racingline billet version is built to outlast the car itself, removing this failure point entirely.

Design and Construction

The handle is CNC-machined from a single billet of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium using 5-axis machinery, then hand-polished and finished in a gloss-anodised Midnight Black. A Viton rubber O-ring is fitted to ensure a proper airtight seal at the dipstick tube, preventing any oil seepage or pressure loss from the crankcase.

Installation
