Stage 3 is the top tier of Racingline’s calibration ladder. It is engineered to make the most of a fully built intake and exhaust package, including the Racingline turbo upgrade or equivalent supporting hardware. The result is a significant jump in power and torque, sharper throttle response and a noticeably stronger pull throughout the rev range.

What the software does

An ECU (Engine Control Unit) is the small computer that controls how your engine runs. It manages things like fuel delivery, ignition timing and turbo boost pressure. Racingline’s Powermax™ calibration rewrites these instructions to match the increased airflow and fuelling capacity of the upgraded hardware, producing more power safely and predictably.

Unlike generic remaps, Stage 3 has been developed through extensive dyno testing and real-world miles by Racingline’s in-house engineering team. The tune respects the limits of the engine’s internals and gearbox while extracting the maximum usable performance.

Required supporting hardware

Stage 3 is not a standalone remap. To run this calibration safely and effectively, the vehicle must be fitted with the appropriate Racingline hardware package. This typically includes the Racingline turbo upgrade, high flow intake system, intercooler, turbo-back exhaust and uprated fuelling components where specified.

Important: attempting to run Stage 3 software without the correct supporting hardware will not deliver the intended results and may risk engine damage. Please confirm your build specification before ordering.

Fuel requirement

This calibration is mapped for high octane fuel. In the UK that means 99 RON (such as Tesco Momentum 99 or Shell V-Power). Running the tune on lower grade fuel is not recommended and will compromise performance and safety.

Fitment

This software is developed for the EA888 Gen.3 2.0 TSI engine found across a wide range of popular Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA and Cupra models, including Golf R, Golf GTI, S3, TT S, Leon Cupra and Octavia vRS variants.
