Designed specifically for the latest VW Tiguan R fitted with the EA888 Gen.4 engine, the Racingline Turbo Inlet System replaces the restrictive factory pipework between your intake and turbo with a noticeably larger, smoother-flowing alternative. The result is improved airflow, better turbo response and the ability to make full use of any aftermarket intake you have fitted.

Why the Factory Inlet Holds You Back

From the factory, air is forced through a corrugated plastic ‘bellows’ pipe before passing into a tight, tapered plastic turbo inlet elbow. Both parts are designed for cost and packaging rather than performance, and they choke airflow well before it reaches the turbocharger. Even with a high-flow air intake fitted upstream, this bottleneck limits how much air can actually reach the engine.

What the Racingline Kit Changes

The kit replaces both restrictive sections in one go:

• Turbo 90 Inlet Elbow – a thin-wall, free-flowing elbow with the internal diameter increased from the factory 74mm up to 84mm.
• Reinforced Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose – a larger diameter, smooth-bore hose that replaces the corrugated plastic bellows for much improved airflow and durability.

Because both parts are upgraded together as a matched system, Racingline have been able to open up the diameter of the entire path between intake and turbo. Fitting only one half of the system would limit the gains, which is why this kit is supplied as a complete inlet solution.

Note: For best results, this kit should be installed alongside a high-flow cold air intake. Fitting in isolation will still improve flow over the factory parts, but the full benefit is realised when paired with an upgraded intake system.
