The Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) is a plug-in tuning box designed specifically for the Audi RS6 and RS7 (C8) fitted with the 4.0 TFSI V8 engine. It offers a safe, fully reversible way to unlock significantly more power and torque from your car, without the need for a full ECU remap.

This makes it an ideal choice if your car is leased, still under warranty, or if a full ECU calibration is not yet available for your model. How the PCM Works

The PCM runs on a standalone PCB (printed circuit board) that communicates directly with the factory ECU. Rather than rewriting the ECU’s software, it intelligently adjusts key signals to allow the engine to produce more power and torque safely. Because nothing is permanently altered in the ECU itself, the unit can be removed at any time to return the car to its original factory state.

As a unique benefit, every PCM customer is entitled to a free upgrade to Racingline’s OEM+ ECU calibration when it is released, provided the PCM was purchased from an authorised Racingline OEM+ dealer (such as ourselves).

Warranty Considerations

It is important to be realistic about the implications of tuning any modern vehicle. Any tuning modification, including a tuning box, can invalidate your manufacturer’s engine and powertrain warranty. If your dealer identifies the PCM fitted to the vehicle, they would be entitled to reject a warranty claim relating to the engine or drivetrain.

The PCM is fully removable, and once taken out, the car returns to true stock condition. While the unit leaves minimal trace on the ECU, there is no guarantee that this product is warranty safe, and it is installed at the customer’s own risk.
