The Racingline R600 MAF Replacement Air Filter is a direct replacement filter element for the Racingline R600 Cold Air Intake System. It is specifically designed for vehicles fitted with a Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor, ensuring the airflow signal remains accurate after fitment.

Choose Your Filter Material

This replacement filter is available in two materials, allowing you to match your preference for filtration style and maintenance:

• Foam (VWR12G7R602FO) – Racingline’s TriFoam three-layer construction, designed to maintain high airflow even when loaded with dust. A popular choice for road use where consistent performance between cleans is valued.
• Cotton (VWR12G7R603FO) – Traditional oiled cotton gauze media, offering excellent airflow and a familiar service routine for those used to cotton performance filters.

What This Filter Does

The oversized, domed shape provides a much larger surface area than a standard paper filter. More surface area means the engine can draw in a greater volume of cool air with less restriction, which supports better throttle response and helps the turbo work more efficiently. Because this version is matched to the MAF-equipped intake, the filter geometry is calibrated to keep the airflow signal stable, so the ECU continues to read accurate values.

Both filter materials are fully serviceable. With the Racingline Filter Cleaning Kit, you can wash, dry and re-oil the filter, returning it to as-new condition rather than throwing it away. This makes it a more economical and environmentally friendly option in the long run.

Fitment

This filter is designed for the Racingline R600 Intake System fitted to MAF-equipped EA888 Gen 3B engines (typically the 190hp variants found across popular VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda 2.0 TSI models).

Important: The R600 intake system is offered in both MAF and MAF-less versions. This replacement filter is for the MAF version only. Please use the vehicle lookup tool, or check the Vehicle Fitment tab, to confirm the correct filter for your car before ordering.

Installation

Fitting the replacement filter into the existing R600 airbox is straightforward and requires only basic hand tools. The filter locates onto the intake using the original clamp, with no modifications needed.
