Racingline Cupra Formentor 300 Performance Software & PDM (Flash at Home)

The Racingline Software and PDM bundle is a Stage 1 tuning package developed specifically for the Cupra Formentor 300, fitted with the EA888.4 engine and Continental turbocharger. It is a straightforward way to release meaningful performance gains from your Formentor without changing any hardware, while keeping the factory levels of reliability and refinement intact.

Racingline’s calibration adjusts the engine’s mapping, boost control, fuelling and ignition timing to extract more power and torque across the rev range. The result is a sharper throttle response, stronger mid-range pull and a noticeably more engaging drive, all delivered through Racingline’s own PDM (Portable Diagnostic Module) tool that lets you flash the car at home.

What you’ll need to flash at home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a USB port and power supply
• A secure wired broadband connection (a very stable Wi-Fi link will also work)
• A battery charger/support unit capable of at least 20A (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity for the laptop and charger

Important considerations

DSG/TCU software: If your Formentor is fitted with the DSG gearbox, we strongly recommend pairing this with the Racingline ECU+TCU bundle. The TCU (Transmission Control Unit) software manages the extra torque, keeps gear changes smooth and protects the gearbox. The high-torque Stage 1 map requires TCU software to be fitted.

Fuel grade: Peak performance figures are quoted using 99RON fuel. If 99RON is not available in your area, a 95RON file can be supplied, although peak power and torque will be slightly lower. Do not use 95RON fuel in a car that has been flashed with the 99RON map.

Theft Protection – built into your PDM

The PDM tool includes Racingline’s Theft Protection function, giving you an extra layer of security whenever you need it:

• Anti-theft map: Flash a special map that makes the ECU and engine completely inoperable until you return and re-flash a stock or performance map
• Zero start policy: Unlike a basic immobiliser, the engine simply cannot be started
• Quick control: Activate or deactivate the function in moments using the PDM

Ready for more? Upgrading to Stage 2

Once you own Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 1+ and Stage 2 is free. To run Stage 2 reliably, you will need some supporting hardware, typically:

• Racingline performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Racingline performance intercooler
• Racingline performance downpipe
