Racingline Audi SQ2 Performance Software & PDM (Flash at Home)

The Racingline Software & PDM Bundle is a Stage 1 tuning package developed specifically for the EA888.3 engine fitted with the IS38 turbocharger, as found in the Audi SQ2 (up to 2020). It’s a straightforward way to unlock meaningful gains in power and torque from your existing hardware, without compromising the reliability you’d expect from a factory Audi engine.

As an authorised Racingline retailer, we supply the genuine PDM (Portable Device Manager) tool and licensed software, allowing you to flash your vehicle in the comfort of your own driveway or garage.

What the Bundle Does

The PDM is a handheld tool that connects your car to Racingline’s secure servers, allowing you to download and install a remapped engine file. The new software adjusts key parameters such as boost pressure, fuelling, ignition timing and throttle response. The result is a sharper, more responsive SQ2 with a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque across the rev range, particularly in the mid-range where you’ll feel it most during everyday driving and overtaking.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a USB port and mains power supply
• A wired high-speed broadband connection (or a very stable Wi-Fi signal)
• A battery support charger rated at 20A minimum (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity throughout the flashing process

Important Considerations

DSG Gearbox Owners: If your SQ2 is fitted with the DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox), we strongly recommend pairing this with the ECU+TCU software bundle. The TCU (Transmission Control Unit) software ensures the gearbox can handle the extra torque smoothly and reliably.

Fuel Grade: Peak performance figures are based on 99RON fuel (such as Shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum). A 95RON file is available if 99RON isn’t easily accessible in your area, though the peak figures will be slightly lower. Do not use 95RON fuel if your vehicle has been flashed with a 99RON map.

Ready for More? Free Upgrade Path

One of the best things about Racingline software is that once you’ve purchased the Stage 1 tune, upgrades to Stage 1+ and Stage 2 are completely free. You only pay for the hardware needed to support the higher stages.

To progress beyond Stage 1, you’ll need supporting hardware such as:

• Racingline Performance Air Intake and Turbo Inlet Elbow
• Racingline Performance Intercooler
• Racingline Performance Downpipe

For Stage 2 builds, transmission upgrades or TCU tuning may also be required. If you’re planning to go further than Stage 1, we’d recommend getting in touch with us first so we can help you map out the build properly.
