The Racingline Software and PDM Bundle is purpose-built for the 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 found in the Audi RSQ8. It delivers a significant lift in power and torque while keeping the engine’s safety margins intact, giving you a more responsive, rewarding drive without compromising long-term reliability.

The PDM (Portable Device Manager) is your personal tuning tool. It allows you to flash the latest Racingline calibrations directly to your car at home, switch between maps, and return to stock whenever you wish. Calibrations are tailored to your exact vehicle and locked to your VIN.

What the Software Delivers

Racingline’s engineers have reworked the engine’s mapping, boost control, fuelling and timing to extract meaningful gains across the rev range. You’ll notice sharper throttle response, stronger mid-range pull and a more confident top-end, particularly when overtaking or accelerating from low speeds.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with USB port and mains power supply
• A secure, high-speed wired internet connection (or very stable Wi-Fi)
• A battery support charger of at least 20 amps (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity for the laptop and battery charger

Important Considerations

Fuel Grade: Peak performance figures are based on 99 RON fuel. A 95 RON calibration is available where 99 RON is not accessible, though peak output will be slightly lower. Do not run 95 RON fuel if your vehicle is mapped for 99 RON.

TCU Software: The RSQ8 sends a great deal of torque through its automatic gearbox. We strongly recommend pairing the ECU tune with Racingline’s TCU (transmission control unit) software to ensure smooth shifts and proper management of the increased torque. This protects the gearbox and gives a more cohesive overall result.

Built-In Theft Protection

The PDM doubles as a powerful anti-theft tool. With a few taps you can flash an immobilising map that renders the ECU and engine completely inoperable until you return and re-flash a stock or performance file.

Looking Beyond Stage 1?

Once you own Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is free. Stage 2 does require supporting hardware to safely handle the additional output, including:

• Performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Performance intercooler
• Performance downpipe
