What the Software Delivers

Racingline’s calibration team rewrites the key engine maps that control fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure. The result is a smoother, more responsive RS7 with substantially more mid-range pull, better in-gear acceleration, and a more confident feel under load. Power figures are based on 99 RON fuel, with 95 RON files available on request at slightly reduced output.

Flash at Home: What You’ll Need

The PDM is designed to be straightforward to use, but you must have the correct equipment ready before starting the flash procedure:

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with USB port and mains power supply
• A secure wired internet connection (or a very stable high-speed Wi-Fi link)
• A battery charger / support unit rated at 20A minimum (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity throughout the flashing process

Stable power and a stable internet connection are essential. Interrupting the flash process can damage the ECU.

Built-in Theft Protection

Your PDM also doubles as a powerful anti-theft tool. With a few clicks you can flash an immobilisation map to the ECU, which completely disables the engine. The car cannot be started by any means until you return and re-flash either the stock or performance map.

• Total immobilisation: the engine becomes literally impossible to start
• Quick activation: enable or disable in moments via the PDM
• Ideal for: high-risk parking, airport stays, or extended trips away from home

Important Considerations

Before ordering, please take note of the following:

• TCU software: The RS7 (C8) uses an 8-speed automatic gearbox. To handle the increased torque cleanly and improve shift behaviour, we strongly recommend pairing this with the Racingline ECU + TCU bundle.
• Fuel grade: Quoted figures are based on 99 RON. A 95 RON file is available, but produces slightly lower peak figures. Never run 95 RON fuel on a map calibrated for 99 RON.
• Fitment: Designed for the Audi RS7 (C8) 4.0 TFSI. Please use our vehicle lookup or check the Vehicle Fitment tab to confirm compatibility with your specific model and year.

Once you own Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is completely free. Stage 2 unlocks more power but requires supporting hardware to deliver and manage the additional output safely:
