Each plug features a laser-welded platinum tip on both the centre and ground electrodes, giving a slow, even wear rate and a long, dependable service life.

What this spark plug does for your engine
Spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel and air mixture inside each cylinder. Worn or incorrect plugs can lead to misfires, poor fuel economy, rough idling and reduced power. Fitting fresh, correctly specified plugs like the PLFER7A8EG restores the strong, consistent spark your engine was designed to run on.
- Stable idle and smoother running
- Improved cold starting and reliable ignition
- Better fuel efficiency and lower emissions
- Excellent anti-fouling thanks to twin platinum surfaces
- Long service life with minimal electrode wear

This plug is commonly fitted to a range of VW Group 2.0 TSI and related petrol engines used across Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen. Please use the vehicle lookup on the Racingline Shop or check the Vehicle Fitment tab to confirm it is correct for your car before ordering.

Installation notes
Spark plugs should always be replaced as a complete set, never one at a time, to keep ignition balanced across all cylinders. Use a torque wrench and tighten to the manufacturer’s specified value to avoid damaging the cylinder head or the plug itself. If your engine has been tuned or runs higher boost pressures, check with your tuner that this heat range is suitable for your application.
