Built for engines running extreme boost or high compression, ADRENALIN delivers up to a 15 RON octane increase when mixed with standard pump fuel, making it one of the strongest street-legal octane boosters on the market.

Developed using the same advanced chemistry found in NF’s Ultra Unleaded Race Fuel Concentrate, ADRENALIN goes further still. The result is a fuel that resists knock, releases more energy on combustion, and lets your engine (or remap) work the way it was designed to.

What is RON and why does it matter?

RON (Research Octane Number) is the measure of a petrol’s resistance to knock, the uncontrolled detonation that happens when fuel ignites too early under pressure. The higher the RON, the more boost, timing or compression your engine can safely use. Many modern tuned cars, especially turbocharged VW, Audi, BMW and performance Japanese engines, are mapped for 98 or 99 RON. If only 95 RON is available locally, or if you want to push the limits of a Stage 2 or Stage 3 map, ADRENALIN brings the fuel up to where it needs to be.

Mixing Ratios and Octane Gains

One 1 litre tin gives the following octane increase depending on how much pump fuel it’s added to:

• 1 litre into 80 litres of fuel = +5 RON
• 1 litre into 60 litres of fuel = +9 RON
• 1 litre into 40 litres of fuel = +12 RON
• 1 litre into 20 litres of fuel = +15 RON

This is the right product for owners running high-boost turbo setups, high-compression engines, aggressive performance maps, or anyone living somewhere with poor quality pump fuel. It’s equally suited to track day use, where consistent high octane is essential to protect a hard-working engine, and to daily driving where you want the smoothest possible running.

For more moderate fuel quality top-ups, NF’s standard Octane Booster may be more appropriate. ADRENALIN is the strongest option in the range and is best used when you genuinely need the additional octane headroom.

Always follow the mixing guide on the tin and add ADRENALIN to the tank before refuelling to ensure proper mixing with the petrol.
