What This Tuning Package Does

The Racingline software recalibrates your engine’s ECU (the computer that controls how your engine runs), adjusting key parameters such as boost pressure, fuelling, and ignition timing. The result is a smoother, stronger powerband across the entire rev range, with sharper throttle response and noticeably improved in-gear acceleration.

All variants of the Audi S3 8V (whether rated at 280, 290, 300, or 310 PS from the factory) produce the same peak figures once tuned to Stage 1.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a USB port and mains power supply
• A secure wired internet connection (or a very stable high-speed Wi-Fi connection)
• A battery charger/support unit rated at 20A minimum (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity throughout the flashing process

Important Considerations Before Tuning

Manual Transmission: If your S3 is a manual, we strongly recommend upgrading the clutch before flashing. The increased torque can exceed the limits of the standard clutch, leading to slip under load.

DSG Gearbox: For DSG-equipped cars, we recommend pairing this ECU software with the matching TCU (Transmission Control Unit) software. This ensures the gearbox can handle the extra torque cleanly and that shifts remain crisp.

Fuel Grade: Quoted performance figures are based on 99 RON fuel. A 95 RON map is available if 99 RON isn’t easily accessible in your area, though peak output will be slightly lower. Do not run 95 RON fuel in a car flashed for 99 RON.

A Free Upgrade Path to Stage 2

Once you’ve purchased Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is completely free. When you’re ready to take things further, you’ll need a few supporting hardware upgrades to safely unlock the additional power:

• Performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Performance intercooler
• Performance downpipe
