Specifically developed for the EA888.4 engine fitted with the Garrett turbo, this package gives you a straightforward way to unlock meaningful performance gains from your TT while keeping the factory reliability you’d expect.

The PDM (Personal Device Manager) is a handheld flashing tool that allows you to load Racingline’s calibrated software onto your car from the comfort of your driveway. No workshop visit required, no need to remove the ECU.

What the Software Delivers

Racingline’s Stage 1 calibration recalibrates the ECU’s fuel, ignition and boost maps to safely raise power and torque output. On 99RON fuel you can expect a noticeable lift in mid-range pull and top-end response, making the TT feel sharper and more engaging in everyday driving as well as during spirited use.

• Stage 1 (99RON): Maximum performance figures
• Stage 1 (95RON): Available where 99RON isn’t accessible, with slightly reduced peak figures
• Free upgrade path to Stage 1+ and Stage 2 software once purchased
• Integrated theft protection function via the PDM

Important: do not run 95RON fuel if your vehicle is mapped for 99RON.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with USB port and mains power supply
• A secure wired internet connection (a very stable Wi-Fi connection can work)
• A battery charger/support unit, 20A minimum (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity throughout the flashing process

DSG Gearbox Owners – Please Note

If your TT is fitted with the DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox), we strongly recommend pairing the ECU software with Racingline’s matching TCU (Transmission Control Unit) software. The TCU calibration manages the extra torque properly, ensuring crisp, reliable shifts. The TCU software is required to run the high-torque Stage 1 map safely.

Theft Protection Built-In

One of the standout benefits of the PDM is its built-in anti-theft function. With a few taps on the tool, you can flash an immobiliser map that renders the ECU and engine completely inoperable until you re-flash a usable map. Unlike a standard immobiliser, this makes it physically impossible for the engine to start, giving you genuine peace of mind in high-risk areas or when leaving the car for longer periods.

Planning to Go Further? Stage 2 Hardware

The free upgrade path means once you own Racingline software, moving up to Stage 1+ or Stage 2 costs nothing on the software side. To run Stage 2 you’ll need supporting hardware:

• Racingline performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Racingline performance intercooler
• Racingline performance downpipe
