The Racingline Carbon Fibre Air Intake System is a direct performance upgrade for the Audi S4 and S5 (B9) fitted with the supercharged/turbocharged 3.0 TFSI engine. It replaces the restrictive factory intake components with a high-flow, cold-air design that feeds the engine cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay. The result is genuine gains in power, torque and throttle response, along with a striking carbon fibre finish under the bonnet.

This kit is one of the most effective bolt-on upgrades available for the 3.0 TFSI platform and pairs especially well with an ECU remap, where the extra airflow allows the tune to deliver its full potential.

TriFoam™ Filter Technology

At the core of the system is Racingline’s TriFoam™ filter, a triple-layer laminate of open-cell polyurethane foam, handmade in the UK. Foam filtration of this type offers an excellent balance between high airflow and effective dust and debris capture, protecting your engine without choking it. Unlike disposable paper elements, the TriFoam™ filter is cleanable and reusable, designed to last the lifetime of the car.

Faster Turbo Response and More Power

Rather than throwing away the factory airbox entirely, Racingline cleverly retains the original lower airbox section and replaces the restrictive lid, filter and air scoop with high-flow components. This keeps installation straightforward while opening up the intake tract significantly.

As a fully enclosed intake, it draws cold air from outside the engine bay while keeping hot under-bonnet air away from the filter, which is key to maintaining consistent performance, particularly on warm days or during spirited driving.
