The Racingline Software and PDM Bundle is a complete at-home tuning solution for the Cupra Leon 300 (KL), built specifically for the EA888.4 engine fitted with the Continental turbo. It gives you a safe, reliable way to unlock more performance from your Leon without ever leaving your driveway, using Racingline’s purpose-built PDM (Performance Data Module) tool to flash the new software directly to your ECU (the engine’s control computer).

As an authorised Racingline retailer, we supply the genuine PDM hardware along with access to the calibrated map files developed specifically for your vehicle. The result is a sharper, more responsive Cupra Leon with a meaningful increase in power and torque, while keeping factory-level drivability and reliability intact.

What the Bundle Does

The PDM tool plugs into your car’s OBD port and communicates with Racingline’s servers to flash custom engine software to your ECU. The new calibration optimises boost pressure, fuelling, ignition timing and throttle response, giving you stronger acceleration throughout the rev range. Mid-range pull is particularly improved, making overtakes and motorway driving noticeably easier.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a working USB port and power supply
• A stable wired broadband connection (a strong Wi-Fi signal can work, but wired is preferred)
• A battery support charger rated at 20A minimum (CTEK recommended)
• Access to mains electricity at the vehicle

Important Considerations

DSG Gearbox Owners: If your Leon is fitted with the DSG transmission, you should pair this ECU tune with the matching TCU (Transmission Control Unit) software. The TCU tune is required if you want to run the high-torque Stage 1 map, as the standard gearbox software will not handle the extra torque correctly.

Fuel Grade: Peak performance figures are based on 99 RON fuel. A 95 RON file is available if 99 RON is not available in your area, though peak power and torque will be slightly lower. Never use 95 RON fuel in a car running a 99 RON map.

Free Upgrade Path to Stage 1+ and Stage 2

Once you own Racingline software, upgrading from Stage 1 to Stage 1+ or Stage 2 is completely free of charge on the software side. To run Stage 2 safely, the following hardware upgrades are required:

• Racingline performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Racingline performance intercooler
• Racingline performance downpipe

Built-In Theft Protection

The PDM tool includes a clever theft protection feature that gives you genuine peace of mind when parking in unfamiliar areas or leaving the car for extended periods.

• Anti-theft map: Flash a special map that makes the ECU and engine completely inoperable until you re-flash a stock or performance map
• Zero start: Unlike a traditional immobiliser, the engine physically cannot start, no workaround possible
• Quick control: Activate or deactivate in moments using your PDM
