Racingline Hubcentric Wheel Spacer Pair & Bolts – 5×112 (66.5mm CB)
Wheel spacers are one of the simplest, most cost-effective ways to improve both the look and handling of your VW, Audi, SEAT or Skoda. The Racingline Hubcentric Wheel Spacer Kit pushes your wheels outward from the hub, filling the arches for a flush, purposeful stance while widening the car’s track for sharper, more planted handling.
They’re also a practical solution if you’ve upgraded to larger brake calipers or fitted coilovers and need a little extra clearance between the wheel and suspension components.
Built to a Genuine Performance Standard
Each pair is CNC machined from heat-treated 7075 T6 aerospace-grade aluminium. This is significantly stronger than the cheaper 6061 alloy used by many budget spacers, allowing Racingline to keep weight low without compromising strength. A black anodised finish protects against corrosion and road grime, and rear mounting face cutouts make removal straightforward even after years of use.
The hubcentric design is the key detail. With a precisely machined 66.5mm centre bore and integrated centring spigot, the spacers locate exactly on the hub rather than relying on the wheel bolts alone. This eliminates vibration and ensures your wheels run perfectly true, just as they would directly mounted to the hub.
Choosing Your Size and Bolt Type
Spacers are sold as a pair and available in four thicknesses to suit different stance and clearance goals:
- 12.5mm – subtle improvement in stance, ideal for minor caliper clearance
- 15mm – the most popular choice for a noticeable but tasteful look
- 17.5mm – more aggressive fitment, fills the arches well on lowered cars
- 20mm – maximum visual impact and track width gain
Each kit includes ten M14x1.5 grade 12.9 carbon steel black wheel bolts of the correct length to suit the spacer thickness. You must select the correct bolt seat type for your wheels:
Tapered Seat vs Ball Seat Bolts
It is critical that the bolt seat type matches your wheels. Fitting the wrong seat type can cause the wheel to come loose, even if the bolts feel tight on installation.
- Tapered (conical) seat – typically used with aftermarket wheels and many SEAT/Skoda factory wheels
- Ball (radius) seat – typically used with OEM Volkswagen and Audi factory wheels
If you’re unsure, inspect one of your existing wheel bolts: a flat angled face is tapered, a curved face is ball seat.
Fitment
Designed for vehicles using the 5×112 PCD with a 66.5mm hub bore. This covers a wide range of Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda models, including popular platforms such as the Golf R, GTI, S3, RS3, Leon Cupra and Octavia vRS.
Please use the vehicle lookup tool or check the Vehicle Fitment tab to confirm compatibility with your specific car before ordering.
