The Racingline Performance Air Intake is one of the most effective and popular upgrades available for the Audi S1. Choice of Filter Material

Both filter options are handmade in the UK and designed to balance airflow with proper filtration. You can choose the option that best suits how you use your car:

Trifoam® Filter (VWR12A1S1): Racingline’s three-layer foam construction, ideal for drivers who want excellent filtration with strong airflow. A great all-round choice for road use.

Pleated Cotton Filter (VWR12A1S1C): A pleated cotton design with a large surface area, favoured by drivers chasing maximum flow for high-output remapped engines.

Build Quality and Design

Every component in the kit is built to OEM-level standards. The enclosed airbox seals against the bonnet to draw cooler air from outside the engine bay, which is essential for consistent power, especially in warmer conditions or after long drives. Mounting points and silicone hoses are designed to fit precisely, with no cutting or permanent modification required.
