The Racingline Performance Cold-Air Intake System is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory airbox on the Skoda Octavia Mk2 vRS 2.0 TFSI. It feeds your engine a steady supply of cool, dense air, helping the turbo respond faster, releasing more power and adding a satisfying induction sound under acceleration.

The standard airbox is a known bottleneck on 2.0 TFSI (K03) engines, particularly once the ECU has been remapped. Racingline solves this with a large-diameter, free-flowing intake path that draws cold air directly from outside the engine bay, rather than recycling hot air from around the engine.

Filter Options

At the centre of the system sits a large, high-flow filter that you can choose to suit your preference. Both filter types are handmade in the UK and designed to balance excellent filtration with minimum restriction:

• Trifoam® Foam Filter (VWR12G6K03) – a three-layer foam construction known for durability and consistent filtration
• Pleated Cotton Filter (VWR12G6K03C) – a traditional oiled cotton pleated design favoured for its high flow rate

Both options offer a huge surface area, so the filter is never the limiting factor in your intake setup.

Construction and Sound

The fully enclosed housing is made from black-anodised spun aluminium, giving the system a clean, OEM-quality appearance in the engine bay. Because the airbox is sealed, it functions as a ram-air style intake, drawing cool air from the front of the car rather than warm air from around the engine.

You will also notice a richer induction note under hard acceleration. The enclosed design keeps the volume sensibly contained, so you get a rewarding sound without it becoming intrusive during everyday driving.
