Racingline Power Delivery Module (PDM) – ECU/TCU Home Flash Tool
The Racingline Power Delivery Module (PDM) gives you direct access to Racingline’s renowned performance software calibrations, allowing you to flash your vehicle’s ECU (engine control unit) and TCU (transmission control unit) from the comfort of your own home, garage, or anywhere you have the right setup.
As an authorised Racingline retailer, we’re pleased to offer this tool to enthusiasts who want full control over their tuning journey – whether that’s stepping up through performance stages, switching between fuel octane ratings, or returning the car to stock before a service visit.
Important: This listing is for the PDM hardware tool only. It does not include performance software. Calibrations are purchased separately as digital downloads once your tool arrives.
How the PDM Works
- Purchase the PDM tool here on the Racingline Shop.
- Our team will email you the available software options for your specific vehicle. These are bought separately and can be re-purchased as needed.
- Follow the clear, step-by-step instructions provided to prepare and stabilise your vehicle, then flash the calibration.
- Drive away and enjoy the benefits of Racingline’s performance software straight away.
Got more than one car, or a friend who wants in? Contact our team for an additional Digital Access Key to flash another vehicle. There is no limit on how many cars one PDM can work with.
Why Choose the PDM?
The PDM is the same full software suite that an authorised Racingline Performance Dealer uses. The difference is that you can install, remove, upgrade or change your calibration yourself, on your own schedule. Key benefits include:
- Return to stock at any time – useful for warranty visits, servicing, or selling the car
- Upgrade between Stages as your modifications progress
- Switch between fuel and octane maps (for example, moving between 98 and 100 RON)
- No need to book dealer time or transport the car for re-flashes
What You’ll Need
- A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a USB port and reliable power supply
- A secure wired internet connection (or a very stable high-speed Wi-Fi signal)
- A battery support charger rated at 20 amps minimum – CTEK brand recommended
- Mains electricity available at the vehicle
A stable internet connection and battery support are essential during flashing. Interrupting the process can damage the ECU, so please follow Racingline’s instructions carefully.
Compatible Engines
The PDM is not currently available for every ECU type. At present, it supports three of the most popular performance engines found across the VW Group range:
| Engine | Common Applications |
|---|---|
| 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 | Latest Golf R, Cupra, Audi S3 and related models |
| 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3 | MQB Golf R, GTI, S3, Cupra and related models |
| 2.5 TFSI EA855 EVO | Audi RS3, TT RS |
To confirm whether your specific vehicle is supported, please use the site’s vehicle lookup or check the Vehicle Fitment tab on this listing.
Prefer the Dealer Route?
The PDM is an optional way to access Racingline software. It is not required to enjoy the benefits of Racingline calibrations. If you’d rather have experts health-check, install, test and log your vehicle for you, an authorised Racingline Performance Dealer can carry out the work in person.
The PDM simply puts that same capability in your hands, ready whenever you want to make a change.
Applications
Please note, customers are wholly responsible for checking fitment for their vehicle.
