Racingline R600 Underhose – Coolant Relocation Hose Kit (VWR17G7R600)

If you’ve fitted the Racingline R600 intake to your MQB platform car, you’ll know how good it looks – but you’ll also have noticed the factory coolant hose running straight over the top of it, spoiling the view. The Racingline R600 Underhose is the official fix, rerouting that hose neatly beneath the intake so your engine bay finally looks the way it should.

This is a direct replacement for the original coolant hose, designed specifically to pair with the R600 intake system. Installation is straightforward, with no cutting or modification needed.

Why fit the Racingline Underhose?

The standard hose on many VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda MQB models sits directly above the engine, partially hiding any aftermarket intake. By routing the coolant line underneath the R600, the Underhose gives a much cleaner, more professional finish – the sort of detail that separates a tidy build from an exceptional one.

It’s not just about looks though. The hose itself is built to a higher standard than the original part:

• 4-ply reinforced silicone construction to handle the pressure and temperature of the coolant system
• Fluoro inner lining for full compatibility with G12 and G13 coolants, which can degrade standard silicone over time

About the one-way valve

The original coolant hose contains a one-way (check) valve that controls the direction of coolant flow as part of the engine’s cooling strategy. This is a critical component – any replacement hose must include it. The Racingline Underhose retains this valve, so your cooling system continues to operate exactly as the manufacturer intended.
