The result is a medium-hardness pad using an aramid fibre compound – a strong, heat-resistant material also found in motorsport pads. The goal was to find the sweet spot between strong cold bite (good stopping performance from the first press of the pedal) and high-temperature fade resistance when the brakes are working hard.
