The Racingline Stage 3+ Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of braking technology for the MQB platform. Combining forged monoblock calipers with genuine carbon-ceramic rotors, this kit delivers motorsport-grade stopping power along with dramatic weight savings, all while remaining usable on the daily commute.

Why Choose Carbon-Ceramic Discs?

Carbon-ceramic rotors use carbon fibre woven into a ceramic matrix rather than traditional cast iron. The result is a disc that is far lighter, runs cooler under sustained heavy use, and lasts significantly longer than conventional steel. After more than a year of intensive testing, Racingline’s CCM (Carbon Ceramic Matrix) discs deliver exceptional resistance to brake fade, considerable weight reduction, and impressive long-term durability.

Unlike many ceramic systems which can feel wooden when cold, the Stage 3+ kit has been developed with road use in mind. Pedal response from cold is genuinely good, making it suitable for daily driving as well as track days.

Reducing unsprung weight (the mass not supported by the suspension) improves ride quality, steering response and acceleration, so the benefits extend well beyond braking alone.

Caliper Colour and Disc Size Options

Choose from 380mm or 355mm rotors, and select your preferred caliper finish: Red, Yellow, Black, ‘R’ Blue, or Anodised.

Already Running the Stage 3 Steel Kit?

If you already own the Racingline Stage 3 Big Brake Kit with steel rotors, you can retrofit the carbon-ceramic discs and matched pads directly to your existing calipers. The part numbers for the retrofit components are:

• Ceramic Pads: VWR6700CARBON
• Ceramic Discs: VWR680013

Important: discs and pads must always be replaced together as a matched set. For heavy track use, Racingline recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers to cope with the higher temperatures the ceramic kit generates.

Fitment Notes

Wheel clearance is critical with a kit of this size. Please confirm before ordering:

• 380mm discs require a minimum 19″ wheel diameter
• 355mm discs require a minimum 18″ wheel diameter
• Hub adaptors are recommended when using factory wheels
