The Racingline Turbo Inlet System is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory inlet pipework on 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engines fitted with the Garrett turbocharger. Designed specifically for larger SUV applications such as the Tiguan, Kodiaq vRS and Tarraco running 245PS, it opens up a known bottleneck in the standard intake to deliver cleaner, faster airflow into the turbo.
From the factory, air is forced through a narrow plastic bellows hose and a tapered turbo elbow. This setup creates turbulence and limits how quickly the turbo can draw air. Racingline replaces both parts with a smooth, large-diameter silicone hose and a CNC-machined aluminium Turbo 90 Inlet elbow, increasing the internal bore from 62.5mm to 76mm. That is a 13.5mm gain in diameter, which makes a real difference to how freely the turbo can breathe.
What it does for your car
By removing the restriction at the turbo’s mouth, the inlet system improves throttle response and allows your intake to perform as it should. If you have already fitted a high-flow induction kit, this is the logical next step to make sure that extra air actually reaches the turbo. On standard cars it sharpens response; on tuned cars it helps the engine make the most of remapped airflow demands.

- VWR120005 (this listing): For larger SUVs only – Tiguan 245PS, Kodiaq vRS 245PS and Tarraco 245PS with the Garrett-turbo EA888 Gen.4 engine
- VWR120003: For other 245PS and 207PS EA888 Gen.4 (Garrett turbo) applications
