Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0TSI 4Motion fitted with the EA888.3 engine and IS20 turbo, this Racingline Performance Software and PDM (Personal Data Module) bundle delivers a meaningful step up in power and torque, while keeping the engine’s long-term reliability in mind. Racingline’s calibration revises the engine’s mapping and boost control to release performance that the standard tune leaves on the table. The result is a more responsive throttle, stronger mid-range pull and noticeably improved overtaking confidence, without altering the day-to-day drivability that makes the Tiguan such a usable family SUV.

What You’ll Need to Flash at Home

To run the Racingline software at home, please make sure you have the following ready before starting:

• A Windows 10 or 11 laptop with a USB port and connected power supply
• A secure wired (or very stable Wi-Fi) high-speed broadband connection
• A battery support charger of 20A minimum (CTEK recommended) connected to mains power
• Access to mains electricity at the vehicle

Important Considerations Before Tuning

Clutch (manual cars): The added torque can exceed the limits of the standard clutch. We strongly recommend upgrading the clutch beforehand on manual transmission vehicles.

DSG gearbox: If your Tiguan has the DSG automatic, we recommend pairing this software with Racingline’s TCU (Transmission Control Unit) tune. The TCU file manages the extra torque properly, sharpens shifts and protects the gearbox.

Fuel grade: Headline power figures are achieved on 99RON fuel. A 95RON calibration is available if 99RON isn’t easily accessible, with slightly reduced peak figures. Do not run 95RON fuel in a vehicle flashed with the 99RON file.

Looking Beyond Stage 1?

Once you own Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is free of charge. Stage 2 does require supporting hardware to unlock its full potential, typically:

• Performance air intake and turbo inlet elbow
• Performance intercooler
• Performance downpipe
