The Racingline R600 Intake Package is a complete cold air intake system developed specifically for the latest MQB EVO Generation 4 platform, fitted with the EA888 Gen.4 engine running the Garrett turbocharger in 245-265PS form. It replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a larger, better-flowing setup that helps your turbo draw in cooler, cleaner air – giving you more consistent power and a sharper response from the throttle.

Hand-built in the UK, the R600 has been engineered to look and fit like factory equipment, while delivering a meaningful step up in performance. It connects to all the standard OEM pipework and sensors, so there are no compromises on emissions equipment or on-board diagnostics.

What the R600 Intake Does

Choosing Your Filter

The R600 is available with two filter options, so you can match the kit to how you use your car.

Trifoam® Filter: Racingline’s multi-layer foam filter offers the highest airflow of the two options. It is the choice for owners chasing maximum consistent power, particularly those running Stage 2 or higher tunes. It does require periodic cleaning and re-oiling to keep it performing at its best.

Pleated Cotton Filter: A durable, low-maintenance option that still flows well above the standard filter. Ideal if you want a “fit and forget” setup. In very dusty conditions it will not match the airflow of the Trifoam, but for most road use the difference is small.

Performance Expectations

On a standard car, you can expect modest but real gains in throttle response, mid-range pull and consistency on warm days when the factory intake tends to heat-soak. The biggest gains are seen when the intake is paired with a Stage 2 (or higher) software upgrade, where the additional airflow is properly exploited by the tune.

Fitment

This kit is designed for MQB EVO platform vehicles running the EA888 Gen.4 engine with the Garrett turbocharger in 245-265PS output. It fits popular VW, Audi, SEAT/Cupra and Skoda models on this engine, including current-generation Golf GTI, Cupra Leon and similar variants.

Installation
