The Racingline R600 Replacement Cotton Filter is a high-flow service part designed specifically for the Racingline R600 cold air intake system. If you prefer a traditional pleated cotton gauze filter over the Trifoam® alternative, this is the direct swap-in option that keeps your intake breathing freely and your engine performing at its best.

Built from three layers of fine-weave cotton gauze, the filter is pleated and hand-formed to maximise surface area. More surface area means better airflow, improved filtration and greater capacity to trap dirt before it becomes a problem. The result is strong initial power delivery, low pressure drop (very little restriction to incoming air) and a filter that will keep doing its job for years with minimal fuss.

Important fitment information

This filter is designed exclusively for the Racingline R600 intake system. It is not compatible with the standard OEM airbox. If you are running the R600 intake on popular VW, Audi, SEAT or Skoda 2.0 TSI platforms (including Golf R, Golf GTI, S3, Cupra and similar), this is the correct cotton service filter.

Optional extra protection

For drivers running in dustier conditions or on track, Racingline also offers a foam “oversock” that fits over the cotton filter for an additional layer of protection against fine debris. This is sold separately and is a worthwhile addition if longevity in harsh environments is a priority.
